A membership with your doctor instead of per-visit insurance billing. You pay a flat monthly or yearly fee, and everything we do in the office is included. The practice stays small, so your doctor has time for you and you can reach them directly. We don't bill insurance for anything in your membership.

It's close. Concierge practices usually charge $2,000 or more a year and still bill your insurance for each visit. Our Direct membership is $120 a month ($100 for founding members) with visits included and no insurance billing.

No. Membership covers primary care from us, under Arizona's direct primary care law. Keep health insurance for hospital stays, specialists, imaging, emergencies and prescriptions. A high-deductible plan pairs well with membership.

We strongly recommend it. Membership isn't insurance and doesn't satisfy any coverage requirement. It covers what we do; insurance covers everything else.

We don't bill insurance for anything in your membership. That's how we keep one flat price and spend our time on you instead of paperwork. Your insurance still works for the care we refer you to.

Not yet. We're opening first for adults who aren't on Medicare. Our Medicare membership is planned for summer 2027 and will work alongside Original Medicare. Join the Medicare list and we'll contact you before it opens.

Yes. Under federal rules that began in 2026, direct primary care memberships are an HSA-eligible expense, up to $150 a month for one person or $300 for a membership covering more than one, and having one doesn't stop you contributing to an HSA. Check with your accountant if you have questions about your own situation.

We refer you, send your records and talk with the specialist. Your insurance pays for the specialist as it always has. If you're in an HMO, check that your plan allows referrals from a doctor outside its network. If you're hospitalized, Dr. Witt talks with your hospital team, explains the plan to you, and sees you within days of discharge.
